Times Like These: My Theory of Relativity
· poetry
As good as it gets
A relative term in relativistic applications
Humans always want more
There is always a degree of more to be
This is sad to me
My life is golden
To this gift I am beholden
On the quality-of-life pyramid I am at the pinnacle
I have no reason to be cynical
The little things like weather, the trivial, the small
I no longer give these power
I have it all
My life is perfect and I need to embrace this fact
No more time to stall
Be as happy as I can be
And love being me
Righteousness is my virtue
Alive in harmony with reason and logical principles
Feng shui is my new way
I’ve almost found my ch’i
Just stay this way another day
