The Storyteller

· poetry

I’m just living for a good story to tell

Opening doors, mending a fence

Settling scores of places and debts

Once upon a time in my mind…

I see things on a clear day

Even small things,  far way

Take nothing for granted, take nothing home

Once there was, and then there was not

Beyond three mountains and three forests

Back when tigers used to smoke

When anything could be a joke

In the time when all things could speak

I’m looking for a calm place to dwell

Cool and quiet

Just how I like it

To live happily ever after
