Living our lives at the speed of sound
Plugging our ears won’t slow it down
A whisper travels as fast as a shout
Shouting louder won’t drown it out
We are a bunch of Chuck Yeagers
The liberating thrill of our infant cry
Is still traveling on through the universal sky
Pop in a stick of Beamans and enjoy the ride
Listen to life and let those sounds be your guide
