Thunderbirds aptly named pass overhead in reformation, blending into the blinding blue

Hawks soar more impressively

Falcons jet on their missions in friendly competitions

A lonesome dove sits quietly by the bush

Worth two in my hands

A phoebe flits to take some sips

While dragonflies of black and bright hues

Glide around with nothing to do

Bees visit me, occasionally needing rescue

Note:

Watching the Miramar Air Show and my natural surroundings while lying on my pool float as the jets make their turns overhead.
